Comedy legend Carol Burnett is set to bring big laughs to the set of GLEE - the star has signed on for a cameo role in the hit TV musical.
The Tony-winning actress will join the all-singing, all-dancing cast for the show's second season - as the "Nazi-hunting mother" of Jane Lynch's character, cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, reports
The episode is expected to air in October or November (10).
Burnett's addition makes the second season of Glee a star-studded affair. The series will also feature stage veterans Kristin Chenoweth, Cheyenne Jackson and Jonathan Groff when it airs in the U.S. this autumn (10).
