Comedy legend Carol Burnett is set to bring big laughs to the set of GLEE - the star has signed on for a cameo role in the hit TV musical.
The Tony-winning actress will join the all-singing, all-dancing cast for the show's second season - as the "Nazi-hunting mother" of Jane Lynch's character, cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, reports EW.com.
The episode is expected to air in October or November (10).
Burnett's addition makes the second season of Glee a star-studded affair. The series will also feature stage veterans Kristin Chenoweth, Cheyenne Jackson and Jonathan Groff when it airs in the U.S. this autumn (10).
