Caro Emerald's debut UK single That Man, taken from her top 10 debut album 'Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor' will be released on July 11th 2011, through Dramatico Records / Grand Mono.
The video for the song was directed by Maikel van der Laken and was animated by Planet X FX, it was inspired by bold classic movie posters and titles from the 1950's and 60's.
Amsterdam born Caro Emerald (real name Caroline Esmeralda van der Leeuw) released her debut single, 'Back It Up' in her home country of the Netherlands in 2009, where it got to Number 12 in the Dutch Top 40. 'Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor' spent seventy weeks in the Dutch Top Ten, from January 2010 to June 2011, making it the second longest ever running album in the Netherlands, behind Michael Jackson's Thriller. In the UK, Caro's album was released in August 2010, where in May 2011 it peaked at number 10, jumping 130 places from number 140, in the UK Album Charts.
