Actress Carly Schroeder endured a tough time on the set of recent soccer movie GRACIE - she finished the film covered in bruises.
The 16-year-old, who stars as a teenage girl desperate to play competitive soccer in the 1970s-set movie, pushed herself to the limit during the physical shoot.
She says, "Having all those bruises to show off to people was the best part.
"I got elbowed in the back when we were doing some of the training sequences. I ripped my knees to pieces while I was doing some of the sliding stunts. I got slide-tackled, and we thought I broke my ankle. And during one scene, a goalie trying to save the goal kicked me right in the knee."
