Rockers The Allman Brothers and Carlos Santana have joined forces for one of the year's (12) most-anticipated tours.
The superstars of rock will hit the road for six North American co-headlining dates this summer (12).
Allman Brothers leader Gregg Allman says, "We’ve all wanted to do this for a very long time. It’s been a long time coming and the whole band is looking forward to what’s gonna happen on stage together."
Santana adds, "It is a delight and an honour to finally share the stage, and the music, with Gregg Allman, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes and The Allman Brothers Band. This is something that we’ve hoped to make happen for many years."
The tour announcement comes just a week after Gregg Allman delayed book tour dates, so he could undergo cardiac testing.
The Santana/Allman Brothers dates begin with a concert in New York on 22 July (12).
