Carlos Santana has been forced to postpone the release of his new album after failing to persuade Sting and Sheryl Crow to join him for duets.

The Latino guitar great had planned to put his new disc, ALL THAT I AM, out next month (JUN05), but he insists it won't be ready in time.

The project, now set for a September (05) release, will feature collaborations with Outkast's Big Boi, Los Lonely Boys and Mary J Blige, among others.

The album delay isn't expected to effect Santana's summer tour plans - he begins a string of North American dates in Florida on 30 May (05).
