Author Carlos Andres Gomez talks about his new book 'Man Up: Cracking the Code of Modern Manhood' in an interview whilst he promotes it at a signing at Books and Books in Coral Gables, Florida. 'It's a raw and real look at what a guy goes through with his journey to becoming a man and how who we're told to be collides with who we are', he explains, but insists that women should also read this book to get a good idea about what goes on in a man's life.
When asked five things people should take note from the book, he easily lists off his most important teachings. 'Number one, know that you are enough. know that your vulnerabilities is where your power lives, know that what you're told to be is not what you have to be. know that it's ok to ask questions and challenge things and know that you're never alone in what you're going through.'
