Carine Roitfeld's new magazine will publish twice a year.

The former French Vogue editor has revealed some new details for the as-yet-untitled publication, revealing how often it will print and that she hopes to have it resemble a book.

Speaking to WWD in Japan where she is attending a number of CHANEL events, Carine added: ''There will be no front of the book section and its emphasis will be fashion with a lot of freedom.''

Carine is set to fly to New York today (23.03.12) to work on the launch issue, which will be released in September.

Speaking about the magazine previously she revealed it will launch with an English edition.

Carine said: ''I am putting a dream team together to make a magazine. It's an ambition of mine to make a really iconic magazine that's fresh and exciting.

''There is no value in it being in French, it needs to be international and in English. It will be something less frequent than a monthly to make it more iconic, more collectable. I want to make something really beautiful, chic, different. I have to find a new way, so I am dreaming about it and working it out.''

While Carine joked she could follow in Oprah Winfrey's footsteps by calling the magazine after herself, she admitted she would be happier to work behind the scenes.

She said: ''I could call it Carine Roitfeld in the manner of Oprah Winfrey, and put myself on the cover every month like she does, but I'm not sure if this is what people want. At the moment they see me a lot. I want to disappear.''
