Cara Delevingne has reportedly urged her actor pal Domhnall Gleeson to help her land a role in the new 'Star Wars' film as she's a huge fan of the sci-fi saga.
Cara Delevingne is eager for a role in the new 'Star Wars' film.
The model and budding actress is said to be a fan of the popular sci-fi saga and has pressed her actor pal Domhnall Gleeson - who is to star in the new installments of the franchise - to put in a good word for her.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Cara is a huge fan of 'Star Wars'. She became very envious when she heard the unknown actress Daisy Ridley had managed to land a role.
''But there are still plenty of parts yet to be cast, as Domhnall has assured her, and she's desperate for one - no matter how small.''
The 21-year-old beauty has been boosting her acting career over the last year with roles in TV drama 'Timeless' and British film 'Kids in Love', which also stars BAFTA winner Will Poulter.
The celebrated fashion darling recently admitted she is scaling back on her modelling career - which includes lucrative deals with Mulberry and DKNY - to concentrate on her film career.
She said: ''Acting is all I've ever wanted to do, so I'm living the dream. I prefer acting to modelling. Modelling is where I started and I could never turn my back on it because without it I wouldn't be here, but this is what I love. This is it for me.''
