Cara Delevingne has been offered a role in the Beach Boys musical.
The Brit-born beauty has been approached to star in the picture, entitled 'All Summer Long', which will be set to the songs of the 'Surfin' USA' hitmakers.
If she takes on the role, it will be the first time Cara - who is currently playing a mermaid in Jo Wright's 'Pan' and has previously taken on supporting parts in 'Anna Karenina' and 'Kids In Love' - will appear in a film's lead female role.
According to Thewrap.com, the 22-year-old model of the moment is considering taking on the part in the picture which will be produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron - the brains behind blockbuster musicals 'Hairspray' and 'Chicago'.
Susannah Grant will pen the fictional script which is set to compliment the best loved tracks of the 60s rock band.
Aside from her budding acting career, Cara recently appeared for the first time in Forbes magazine's highest-earning models list.

Also on the list was her close friend Jourdan Dunn, who is believed to have earned around $5 million.
Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen topped the list with a huge $47 million.
