Model Best Friends: Cara Delevingne And Suki Waterhouse

Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse are definitely the hottest celeb BFFs on the scene (sorry Kim Kardashian and Blac Chyna!). The pair of stunning British models are currently the face of Burberry and have been spotted at all of the coolest international events, from partying it up at the Cannes Film Festival to appearing arm-in-arm at the afterparty for the Fendi flagship store launch in Mayfair.

Suki and Cara are possibly the coolest set of celebrity BFFs on the scene

Cara, who has recently split from Fast & Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez (some cited her friendship with Suki as the cause for the split) is one of the world’s most in demand models of the moment, while Suki Waterhouse can lay claim to Hollywood heavyweight Bradley Cooper. The pals are definitely the ‘it’ girls of the moment and are currently living together in a trendy London home. But how did the two blondes get to where they are today?

As a member of the wealthy Delevingne family, 21 year old Cara was sort of destined to become a star. Older sister Poppy Delevingne is also a model, while her godfather is Conde Nast exec, Nicholas Coleridge (yes, that’s the Conde Nast that owns Vogue, incase you were wondering!). Since appearing in Burberry’s SS11 campaign, Cara was catapulted into the fashion spotlight. She quickly became one of high fashion’s most coveted models and was named the face of Burberry’s SS12 campaign.

She’s since walked the catwalk and appeared in campaigns for practically every fashion power house out there, while these days you can hardly flick through Vogue without seeing Cara’s face on every other page.

Waterhouse, who is just a few months older than Cara, first shot to fame modelling lingerie for British high street store Marks and Spencer. Following her stint for M&S she modelled for both Alice + Olivia and Coast, before gaining a fashion following when she was featured in Vogue’s Today I’m Wearing section.

Suki has been dating American Hustle actor Bradley Cooper since 2013

As of 2013 Waterhouse has been a face of Burberry, since she helped launch the new male scent in October of that year. Waterhouse began dating Hollywood actor and Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper in March 2013, a move which certainly didn’t harm her modelling career. She has since appeared on the cover of numerous glossy magazines including Tatler, Elle and Vogue Japan.

Like Cara, Suki is also looking to break into acting work on top of her modelling. Both girls seem to have a lot in common and with their good looks and success at such a young age they look set to dominate the celebrity world for some time to come.
