Cara Delevingne's first kiss was like a ''washing machine''.

The 22-year-old model-and-actress has revealed her first romantic encounter wasn't exactly what she had hoped and resulted in both her and her potential love interest spitting on the floor.

She said: ''I think my worst kiss was the first kiss I ever had. I was going out with a boy who had a broken leg and I think I kind of took advantage of him.

''It kind of reminded me of a washing machine filled with... something. Actually, after we stopped kissing we both spat on the floor.''

Fortunately for the blonde beauty - who is currently dating singer St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark - her 'Paper Towns' co-star Nat Woolf, with whom her character becomes romantically involved, has had a lot more practice.

She said: ''He is a pretty good kisser, he has been taught well, that's what I say.''

As one of the most in-demand models and young actresses in the industry Cara confessed she has been forced to come up with her own ways to defend herself from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

The Burberry model has even resorted to pelting photographers with water bombs in a bid to get them to leave her alone when she isn't looking her best.

When asked if she has ever sought revenge on photographers on Spanish Channel Antena 3's show 'El Hormiguero', she joked: ''I have done it in my own way, I have thrown them water, water balloons... I get their backs sometimes.

''I push too hard when I open doors and I have hit some of them. But what I would like to do is find out where they live and hire a lot of pretend paparazzi outside their doors in the mornings.''
