Rumours had been spreading that Delevingne was disillusioned with the catwalk, after her agency Storm had removed her profile from their website.
Cara Delevingne has revealed that she wants people to “accept” her as an actress, not just as a model.
Speaking to OK! magazine ahead of the release of her upcoming movie Paper Towns, out on August 17th, the 22 year old British beauty opened up about her new-found love for acting, and wants people to acknowledge that this is a permanent career move and see her with some credibility in this field.
Cara Delevingne wants people to see her an an actor, not just a model
Is it really wise to trust your most dangerous sworn enemies? Sometimes you have little choice when there are threats in the world too brutal to put your best men on. Amanda Weller is in charge of a top secret government organisation known as A.R.G.U.S. They have in their detainment some of the world's craziest psychopaths, supervillains and powerful mutants, and while they are being of no use to society stuck in prison cells, Weller introduces a brand new team known as the Suicide Squad in which these criminals can carry out seemingly impossible missions with the promise of freedom or, at least, reduced sentences. Among them are such fiends as Harley Quinn, The Joker, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Enchantress, Rick Flagg and Killer Croc - who are all willing to band together and save the world, even if they die trying.
Lucky fans in attendance at San Diego's Comic-Con on Saturday got their first look at the much anticipated super-villain movie.
Suicide Squad may have another month of filming left, but that didn't stop the movie’s stars as well as director David Ayer from taking a road trip to Comic Con this weekend, to wet fan’s appetites for the highly anticipated super-villain flick.

Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Cara Delevingne Jai Courtney, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Common, Adam Beach, Ike Barinholz, Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje and Karen Fukuhara were all in attendance for the film’s panel on Saturday, with Joker Jared Leto the only noticeable absentee.
22 year old Delevingne has been increasingly vocal about her intentions to eventually quit modelling, but now it seems the career move is official.
Though it was modelling that first made her one of the world’s most recognisable faces, Cara Delevingne seems to have been dissatisfied with the scene with quite some time, fuelling rumours that she was ready to quit the catwalk.
It would seem that those rumours now have some truth behind them, with the Huffington Post reporting on Saturday (July 4th) that the 22 year old’s profile has been removed from the website of her agency Storm Models, who have represented her since the age of 15.

Despite the promotional materials already out there, including the pictures of the cast in full costume, the director assures fans that all plot twists are intact.
There’s been quite a number of photos and teasers over the last month or so from the set of Suicide Squad that have been endlessly pored over, but director David Ayer has assured fans that they haven’t given anything away and that there’s still surprises to come.
The Warner Bros.-backed movie wrapped up shooting on the streets of Toronto last week, and the 47 year old director took to Twitter to say that the surprises that the film has in store for fans remain intact, and have not been compromised in any way by the large amount of material already in the public arena.

Once again, Taylor Swift wins all the things.
The video first premiered at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 17) and since then, the internet (specifically Tumblr) has gone NUTS. Selena Gomez! Hayley Williams! Zendaya! Cara Delevingne! The explosions! The leather bodysuits! The GIFs!

Indeed, he goes on to experience the most exciting childhood anyone could dream to have, flying around on airborne ships from the mystical world of Neverland. Meanwhile, he meets James Hook, a fellow traveller who becomes his friend and protector, and it isn't long before he then bumps into a vibrant tribe led by the formidable Tiger Lily, who reveals to him that his arrival marks the end of the pirates' terror. MTV Movie Awards bring out the stars, as does the Avengers 2 premiere in Los Angeles. Matthias Schoenaerts is accompanied by costars Kate Winslet and Carey Mulligan at two London premieres. And we get further glimpses of a Western with Michael Fassbender, the next Terminator action romp and Paul Rudd as a tiny superhero in Ant-Man...
The MTV Movie Awards caught the headlines this week, not for their offbeat winners but for the usual antics of the stars who were in attendance. Those on hand to walk the blue carpet included multiple winner Shailene Woodley as well as Jennifer Lopez, Scarlett Johansson, Hailee Steinfeld, Rebel Wilson, Miles Teller, Mark Ruffalo, Michael B. Jordan, Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff.
Actually, all of the Marvel Avengers were at the awards, then reassembled two nights later for the Los Angeles premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron, which opens next week. This time the carpet was red, and attendees included Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Paul Rudd and Paul Bettany.

Don't worry, Jared Leto is still playing the Joker.
Jared Leto as the Joker - I was into it from the word "go," but now we even have a first look picture to get the online convo going. The actor's look for Suicide Squad calls back to an earlier Joker from the comic book universe.
Where is Jared?
The square hairdo and blurry, 80s-looking filter add a nice arty touch, but the camera Leto is holding seems to call back to one of the character's most iconic covers -The Killing Joke. It's one of the few origin stories for the Joker. The pic was tweeted on Thursday by Suicide Squad director David Ayer, who added the hashtag #whereisjared.

The British supermodel fronts the new Marie Antoinette inspired campaign for the French fashion house.
She may be looking towards a future in Hollywood, but supermodel Cara Delevingne isn't quite done with striking a pose yet. The 22 year old is the new face of Chanel’s most recent campaign, which sees her giving Marie Antoinette a punk makeover in the period style images.

The model is hoping to transition from the runway to an acting career, but does her latest performance show movie star potential?
“As soon as I got my first role I was like:, F--k it, I don’t care what people say,” model Cara Delevingne said in an interview with Time Out earlier this week. The 22 year old who stars in The Face Of An Angel is currently in the midst of a career transition and has no fewer than five acting projects lined up for this year. But does Cara have what it takes to make the difficult transition from runway to screen?
Is Cara Hollywood's next big thing?
“The first time I did Fashion Week, I was like: Right, I might as well give up on acting because I’m screwed,” Delevingne told Time Out. “When I finally got a serious role to audition for, I cried on the phone, I was so happy. Not even a film, just an audition.”
By taking a fictionalised approach to the Meredith Kercher murder case in Italy, filmmaker Michael Winterbottom sets out to show how tricky it is to find the truth in any case, but he actually ends up proving how impossible it is to make a movie based on complex, unresolved real events. The film has a fascinatingly mysterious tone to it, but never comes together into something the audience can properly engage with, mixing big themes with bizarre filmmaking flourishes that only serve as a distraction.
It centres on Thomas (Daniel Bruhl), a London-based filmmaker who flies to Sienna to make a movie about the case of a student (Genevieve Gaunt) who's been charged with brutally killing her flatmate (Sai Bennett). Thomas immediately locates the foreign press corps, which hangs out together to cynically discuss the case. And he starts working with Simone (Kate Beckinsale), who's writing a true crime book. But Thomas is worried that there are too many layers to the story for a movie, and he becomes increasingly confused after consulting with Edoardo (Valerio Mastandrea), an expert on the case who also wants to be a screenwriter. To try to find the root of what happened, Thomas hires the sexy young Melanie (Cara Delevingne) to show him around town.
All of this is complicated by the fact that Thomas has a coke addiction and is reading Dante's Inferno, which combines with his imagination to cause freak-out hallucinations that make everything even murkier. Winterbottom builds this atmosphere beautifully, but falls short of establishing the fever-dream style of an Italian Giallo horror movie. This is mainly because he's trying to have it both ways, creating a wildly disorienting mystery while at the same time trying to make a pointed comment on how the media exploit a personal tragedy.

The model turned actress stars in the big screen adaptation of John Green’s YA novel.
The first trailer for Paper Towns starring model Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff premiered on this morning’s edition of NBC Today, giving us our first look at the young adult drama, which comes from The Fault In Our Stars author John Green,
Cara Delevingne stars with Nat Wolff in Paper Towns
Adapted from Green's best selling novel, Delevingne stars as Margo, the girl next door who captures the imagination of her neighbour Quentin "Q" Jacobsen, played by Nat Wolff. But after the two spend high school running in different circles, Q receives the shock he’d been waiting for one night, when Margo appears at his window and asks him to assist her with a revenge plot.

Quentin's life is perfectly ordinary for a growing high school boy, at least apart from his mysterious and gorgeous neighbour Margo, with whom he has been friends since kindergarten. She's an eccentric character who, out of blue, decides to enlist him on an all night revenge project of hers, touring the neighbourhood which she bitterly calls a 'paper town' and finding a way to get back at her cheating ex-boyfriend. Just as suddenly, Margo disappears the very next day leaving behind a string of clues as to her whereabouts. The British model is taking to the big screen like a duck to water.
Cara Delevingne returns to the big screen in Michael Winterbottom's psychological murder thriller 'The Face Of An Angel' based on the true case of Amanda Knox. It marks the first of a string of movies she has lined up to properly kick start her acting career.
Cara Delevingne plays a tour guide in 'The Face Of An Angel'
The charismatic British model, best known for her extraordinary eyebrows, will make her second feature film appearance, having previously starred as Princess Sorokina in the 2012 adaptation of Tolstoy's 'Anna Karenina'. This time she plays a tour guide named Melanie who befriends a filmmaker named Thomas (Daniel Bruhl) in this unusual story of a brutal murder, with an unlikely suspect at the bottom of it. When a beautiful young woman named Elizabeth (Sai Bennett) is found dead in Italy, her supposed friend Jessica (Genevieve Gaunt) immediately faces scrutiny; however, with her own good looks, she seems just as unlikely a perpetrator as Elizabeth was a victim. Kate Beckinsale plays Simone Ford, a writer who's been obsessively covering the case from the beginning.
In 2007, a young British student was brutally sexually assaulted and murdered in the room of an Italian house. Her American roommate is arrested and tried for the murder, but there's a problem. The girl looks far too innocent for anyone to convict her of the horrific crimes she has been accused of. When a journalist and a documentary filmmaker arrive on the scene, they join together to try to get to the bottom of the crime, all the while raking up more and more of the dirt surrounding the case.

So that just happened. Let's all try to remain calm, shall we?
Whoever thought of putting Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian together on a project is a marketing and social media genius. The pair have finally revealed their mysterious collaboration and it’s kind of amazing. So remember when Kim K released a bunch of photos for Love magazine last year? Bleached eyebrows, fur, Prada, mood lighting? It was all very high fashion and mildly confusing, but now the whole alien look makes sense. The photos were for a thirty page spread, for an issue of Love curated by none other than Miss Delevingne herself!
A Cara and Kim collaboration? I think my brain just melted.
Are you trembling in anticipation already? The issue hits shelves February 9th and it features another surprise – a sneaky contributing editor’s credit for Cara. Of course, being a model and all, Miss Delevingne features heavily within the issue’s pages, with her contributor’s portrait, shot by by Sølve Sundsbø. Love editor-in-chief Katie Grand - who styled Cara in SS15 Givenchy for the occasion - says, "I couldn’t be happier working with Cara, having her alongside me behind the camera for a change.
A script for the as-yet-unconfirmed sequel definitely exists, and the British model is being actively considered for a part.
There have been many whispers about the possibility of a follow-up to 2001’s hit comedy Zoolander, but one casting rumour seems to be solidifying. According to MTV, the film’s original star Ben Stiller wants British model Cara Delevingne to play a part.
Stiller was being interviewed to promote the third instalment of the family-friendly movies series Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb when he was asked about the existence of a sequel. He replied “There is a script, I won't deny there's a script, and there's been a reading of the script - but it hasn't yet been fully formulated.”

Let's get real here.
Hey girl, did you know that Ryan Gosling is about to be a dad? Neither did anyone else until this week, but when he and girlfriend Eva Mendes broke the news, the internet exploded with highly inappropriate amounts of “grief.” Well, it was mostly just Twitter. Well, mostly just overdramatic Gosling and Notebook fans. But in honor of these poor lovestruck souls (you can read some choice tweets below) we’ve compiled a list of five other people you are never going to date – no matter how much you’d like to.
Gosling and Mendes got together in 2011, so he's technically been off the market for some time now.
Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie. When asked to choose between this power couple, most people would be fine with either. Jolie is intelligent, charitable, worldly and stunning. Brad Pitt, even after his hey-day is… how do we put this delicately… hot, not to mention a creative and business-savvy force to be reckoned with. Fortunately for them, they seem to have found a good thing – lasting marriage, a whole litter of children and thriving careers to boot. Unfortunately for us, this means that both are off the market for good. The same largely applies to Beyonce and Jay Z, by the way.
Michelle and Zac were spotted getting it on at the beach.
Michelle Rodriguez and Zac Efron have all but confirmed their romance with a very public display of affection on a beach inn Sardinia. The acting couple were spotted enjoying the summer sun and canoodling whilst on a yacht. The Daily Mail published photos of an iPad-brandishing Efron leaning in to smooch his new bikini-clad lover.
Their blatant PDA gives the signal that Rodriguez's relationship with model Cara Delevingne is well and truly over, as rumours had been suggesting for some time. The Fast & Furious actress looked to be having a wonderfully relaxing time as she basked in the sun's rays and enjoyed the company of her frisky new beau.
The couple couldn't resist fondling each other as they frolicked on the boat and took dips in the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Despite their amorous display, the pair weren't alone during their ocean jaunt and were seen hanging out with businessman Gianluca Vacchi and some female friends.

"We're in the best artistic environment we could be in," Williams said as the sun set and the moon rose over the leafy gardens.
The model spoke about her sexuality in a new interview.
Cara Delevingne has finally addressed her sexuality in a new interview with The Telegraph magazine. Though her words don't exactly constitute a full outing, it was the first time that the model has spoken candidly about her views on dating women over men. Said to be dating actress Michelle Rodriguez, Cara and her alleged sexual orientation are constant subjects of media scrutiny.
When asked about her sexuality, Cara replied "What do I think? I think people shouldn't be scared of that. I'm young, I'm having fun, I don't want to pretend to be something I'm not." She shrugs. "So I don't really care on that matter. People can say what they want, but I'm having a good time. I know what people are doing who are my age; I just think it would be a lie to pretend that I'm not having a good time."
"The funny thing is, I always used to have more guy friends. At school, I was a tomboy and it would be me and all my guy friends. But now... I don't know. It's kind of changed quite a bit. I still have my old friends from school, but I think..."

Poppy married long-term boyfriend James Cook on Friday last week, in a star-studded ceremony that could outdo the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. The couple had become engaged in 2012 and their wedding was one of the most anticipated events on any socialite’s calendar. Among the famous faces who attended the wedding were ex-Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Rumours are rife that Cara Delevingne and Michelle Rodriguez have split following their passionate relationship.
After plenty of PDA, a few high kicks and a topless make out session in the sea, sources are claiming that actress Michelle Rodriquez and model Cara Delevingne have called time on their relationship. Sources claim that the age difference between the two women is to blame for their decision to part ways. Chanel model Cara is 21 years old, while her Fast & Furious girlfriend is 35.

Celebrity Dirty Laundry is claiming, “Cara’s obviously still very young, and although the age gap between her and Michelle doesn’t play any role now, it might end up being an issue in the future. Not because of their differences in age, but rather their views on relationships and commitment…Cara’s definitely somewhat of a loose cannon, and she’s notorious for partying and hooking up with people. How long can someone so young and care-free stay in a committed relationship? Eventually, she won’t want to be tied down anymore, and when that time comes, we can only hope that Michelle doesn’t get her heart broken.”
