Rap star Cam'ron has been accused of glorifying gun crime in his new DVD KILLA SEASON.
The singer - real name CAMERON GILES - alarmed innocent bystanders when he staged a six-minute shootout in the middle of New York City yesterday (25AUG05).
But the 29-year-old defends his decision to make the violent footage, because he is convinced people are desperate to see more guns on their screens.
The rapper tells the New York Daily News, "Censorship has been up tremendously. I think this DVD will show people what they want.
"We haven't been able to show a gun on TV or a bottle of Hennessy liquor on TV in seven years, and people want to see those things.
"I don't care about criticism as long as the record's making money."
