CHARLIE'S ANGELS star Cameron Diaz has become a lot more environmentally aware since filming her adventure reality series TRIPPIN'.

The 32-year-old actress is the star and producer of the upcoming MTV show, which sees her travelling around the world with a group of friends, exploring the effect the environment has had on a range of exotic and remote places.

And Diaz, who was joined by such stars as Rebecca Romijn, DMX, Drew BARRYMORE, Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba and Kid Rock on her travels, admits she's forever changed.

She says, "This experience has really opened my eyes to how everything we have and everything we do affects other people across the globe, not just in our own backyards.

"I've been so lucky to meet so many people around the world who are dedicated to the environment. I've gotten to see first-hand how we can help it survive.

"One of the most rewarding things for me has been to experience the other travellers' reactions and how making these trips has changed the way we see the world.

"We've all come away from each of these trips feeling inspired and more empowered, instead of helpless, like I know I did before we started. We don't have all the answers - no one does - but it's definitely changed us all forever."
