'Bad Teacher', the new comedy movie about a foul-mouthed junior high teacher, features an "uncomfortable" sex scene featuring Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake. The couple, who dated each other for around four years, used their sense of humour to get through the "absurd" situation.
Speaking to People Magazine, Diaz acknowledged filming the scene with her ex-boyfriend was a bizarre experience, saying, "Yes, yes. It was just an absurdity, a form of hilarity for all of us involved. We went to work that day and said, what time do we start being ridiculous? ... Eight o'clock? Perfect". The movie also features Jason Segel and Lucy Punch and is directed by Jake Kasdan, who recalled shooting "most uncomfortable sex scene in history". Kasdan said despite the awkwardness, the actors performed their job with professionalism, adding, "They got in there and started doing it. And it was so funny, we just couldn't stop shooting it. And we were doing it almost the whole day. And really crying, laughing at the video monitors".
Timberlake dated Diaz between 2003 and 2007, but both individuals have been involved in serious relationships since. Timberlake recently split from his long-time girlfriend Jessica Biel, while Diaz has been involved with Alex Rodriguez for the last year.
