Dolphin Tale 2 Trailer

'Dolphin Tale' saw Sawyer Nelson and Dr. Clay Haskett save the life of a beached dolphin named Winter who was so badly injured, she needed a special prosthetic fin fitted in order to survive. She was thus housed in the Clearwater Marine Hospital with a motherly dolphin named Panama. However, following Panama's tragic passing, Winter's future could look very lonely indeed unless the staff at the hospital can find her a new friend to share her life with; an action that is stringently required lest she is moved to another aquarium. That's where Hope comes in; an incredibly tiny dolphin who the Clearwater staff have shipped over to join Winter. The question is, is Winter's heartbreak over Panama's death too much to deal with in spite of new company?

Eagle Eye Review

OK
Bruce Sterling's 1998 novel Distraction opens with a group of strangers converging on a bank, each with one specific task. By the time they are done, the entire bank has been disassembled. While this idea of a smart mob's destructive power isn't exactly new, Eagle Eye's variations on the concept make for compelling, if sometimes contrived, cinema.

Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf) is an underachiever mourning the recent death of his overachieving twin brother Ethan. Across town, Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) is sending her little boy Sam (Cameron Boyce) on a school band trip. While Jerry arrives home to find his apartment filled with every piece of terrorist contraband known to man and a voice on his cell phone telling him to run, Rachel receives a call telling her to follow instructions or her son's train will be derailed.

Mirrors Review

Grim
Writer-director Alexandre Aja, along with his co-writer Gregory Levasseur, had been cruising along, showing promise within the horror genre, until (cue overwrought score) the mirrors got hold of him. Their film Mirrors is another remake of an Asian horror movie imbuing everyday objects with ghostly menace. In this case, the objects are, yes, mirrors -- specifically (but not limited to) the mirrors in a run-down New York department store. Of course, jump-scares involving sudden appearances in mirrors have been a cheap horror tactic for years, so this is a little like making a horror movie about murderous loud noises.

Ben (Kiefer Sutherland) is a newly-hired night security guard at that department store, and during his patrols he's been seeing disturbing stuff in the mirrors -- charred bodies, horrible wounds, people screaming for help. This seems like an excellent time to slack a bit at work and hang back in his security trailer, but Ben persists with an investigation.
