M-Bone's Cali Swag District bandmates have released a tribute single in honour of the slain rapper.
The hip-hop star, real name Montae Talbert, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Inglewood, California on 15 May (11) and an open funeral for the 22 year old is due to be held in the town on Friday (27May11).
The band has now released a special single, called How to Do That, in M-Bone's honour. The track samples the group's biggest hit Teach Me How to Dougie and features rap tributes about M-Bone.
Bandmember C-Smoove says, "We gotta stay strong and keep our music going, keep our heads on right and just stay safe and stay off the streets. M-Bone was the life and energy of our group. We'd have fun on stage because of him. We hope that fans will help us pay tribute to him by continuing to dance in M-Bone's memory."
The Californian rockers were defiant in their intention to play the venue once again.
Smith announced his intention to get involved in politics, saying that he is "incensed to a level that I can't sleep".
Daniel Bruhl makes a cameo performance as Dirk Brulee in the video for Travis' return single 'Everything At Once'.
