Busted heart-throb Charlie Simpson was forced to phone up a television viewer to apologise for swearing on a live British children's show.

The YOU SAID NO singer let a swear word slip out during a live transmission of BBC morning programme THE SATURDAY SHOW.

And upset TV bosses made Charlie phone one kid's horrified parents after they called to complain about his foul use of language.

He says, "A few months ago on The Saturday Show I let a swear word slip and the programme's bosses made me phone a family who had called up to complain.

"I had to apologise to them, it was all a bit of a misunderstanding."
