Brooke Muller grateful to Denise Richards for securing temporary custody of her four-year-old twins while she seeks help for addiction
The 'Wild Things' actress was granted temporary custody of Brooke's sons with Charlie Sheen, Bob and Max, on Thursday (02.05.13), after they were removed from the 35-year-old socialite's care by the Department of Children and Family Services, when she was allegedly placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in a Los Angeles hospital, amid allegations her drug use had resulted in an ''unsafe environment''.
A source close to Brooke told gossip website TMZ.com that she is glad that Denise, who has daughters Sam, nine, and Lola, seven, with the 'Anger Management' star, as well as adopted Eloise, two, is watching the boys instead of her own mother Moira Flore.
The insider said that Brooke - who has been to rehab 19 times - feels that Denise is a great mother and will make sure her sons have everything they need while she seeks help.
Brooke's mother is allegedly not happy as she wanted to look after them but the insider claimed the boys are more familiar with Denise and their half-sisters Sam and Lola.
A spokesperson for Charlie, who was married to Brooke for two years until November 2010 and Denise for three years until she filed for divorce in March 2005, has already said he is happy that his sons are with Denise.
The 47-year-old actor's publicist Larry Solters said: ''Charlie supports the actions of the Department of Children and Family Services.
''He knows Max and Bob are safe and in a stable, loving environment with Denise and the boys' sisters. Charlie will fully cooperate and fully participate in all proceedings.''
