Britney Spears is reportedly set to follow in the footsteps of Prince and Kylie Minogue by playing a two-week residency at London's O2 Arena next year (09).
The Toxic hitmaker is preparing for a mammoth world tour in 2009 on the back of her forthcoming album, Circus, which is released in December (08).
And now, according to British newspaper The Sun, Spears has negotiated a deal with the London venue which will see her show based there for 14 nights.
Artists including Prince, Kylie Minogue and the Spice Girls have all completed a residency at the arena. The live shows will be Spears' first gigs in the U.K. since 2004's Onyx Hotel Tour.
