Britney Spears' mother LYNNE has hired a manager to look after her blossoming career - after the 52-year-old signed a lucrative book deal. The mother of three recently signed a $1 million (GBP500,000) deal to write her parenting book, titled Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World - and has decided she needs an agent to look after her business interests, according to New York Post's gossip column PageSix. The book will be published by Christian book group Thomas Nelson and is due for release in May 2008. News of Lynne Spears' decision to appoint an agency comes after her 25-year-old superstar daughter took on new management herself - hiring her friend Sam Lufti to take charge of her music career.
