Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has been ordered to stay away from the pop star for at least three years.
California Superior Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb granted the singer an extension of a protective order against the paparazzo on Wednesday (18Mar09) morning.
A temporary restraining order against Spears' former manager, Sam Lutfi, was also extended until 1 April (09).
The Toxic hitmaker's father, Jamie Spears, who has court-ordered control over her estate, sought protective orders on her behalf against Ghalib and Lutfi in January (09).
Court documents suggest the men attempted to undermine Jamie Spears' conservatorship, established after the singer suffered a series of public meltdowns at the beginning of last year (08).
Jamie Spears' attorney told the judge that Ghalib had yet to file any objections to the order, which is in effect until 17 March (12).
The judge will hear from witnesses in the case against Lutfi on 1 April (09).
