Britney Spears' former manager SAM LUTFI is reportedly facing foreclosure on his Californian home after allegedly running up more than $18,000 (£12,000) in debt. The news comes just a day after it was revealed Lutfi has filed legal action against Spears' parents, Lynne and Jamie, accusing them of defamation.
He is said to owe thousands of dollars to bosses of a debt collection agency, who have issued a lien on his Los Angeles property in a bid to secure the debt, according to TMZ.com.
If the money is not paid by 10 February (09), the house will reportedly be forced into foreclosure.
The website also claims that Lutfi is facing further legal action from a U.S. bank over an unpaid credit card debt.
Lutfi recently filed papers at an L.A. court seeking compensation from the Spears family, accusing them of "ruining his reputation" by allegedly leaking false information about his conduct to the press.
The lawsuit came less than a week after Britney was granted a temporary restraining order against Lutfi, as well as his attorney Jon Eardley, and her ex-lover Adnan Ghalib.
