Britney Spears is rumoured to be the next star in line to join James Corden for ‘The Late Late Show’s’ ‘Carpool Karaoke’. The popstar is expected to make an appearance alongside Corden in the passenger seat before her new album Glory drops later this month.

The New York Post’s Page Six reports that Spears will be following in the footsteps of Adele, Sia and even Michelle Obama to have a sing-al-along with Corden. Spears’ management is said to be “working overtime” to get Glory to debut at the number one spot when it’s released on August 26.

Spears has also just released the steamy new video for single ‘Make Me’, which sees the singer and her girlfriends audition male dancers. Directed by Randee St. Nicholas, the video features Spears trying to chose the perfect love interest from a selection of shirtless hunks.

Earlier this week she announced “the beginning of a new era” on Twitter with Glory’s release. Tweeting an image of the record’s artwork, she wrote: “#Glory. My new album & the beginning of a new era. Available 8/26 on @AppleMusic. Pre-order tonight at midnight ET.”

The album will be an Apple Music exclusive and fans pre-ordering will have instant access to a download of ‘Private Show’, a song was was previously trailered in a risqué commercial for a new fragrance of the same name.
