Britney Spears' little sister is helping to launch a children's initiative to get involved in the tsunami relief effort in Southeast Asia.

Actress Jamie Lynn Spears, 13, has signed on to appear in a new public service announcement which will appear on children's TV networks.

The teenager says, "No matter where kids are, no matter what they have available to them, they can make a difference."

The DO SOMETHING FOUNDATION, which is the charity behind the public service announcements, has already collected charity cash from young Americans who have staged bake sales and garage sales to raise funds for the relief effort.
