Britney Spears took home the Style Icon prize at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night (16.08.15).
Britney Spears was named Style Icon at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards last night (16.08.15).
The 33-year-old star's style has evolved massively since she first shot to fame with the hit single 'Baby One More Time' in 1999 and she's now been awarded an accolade for her fashion choices at the annual ceremony held at Los Angeles' Galen Center.
Speaking as she accepted the Candie's Choice Style Icon award, Britney said: ''Fashion has always been something I've loved to experiment with. To all the teens, be fearless in your choice and don't be afraid to be yourself.''
The 'Piece of Me' hitmaker opted for a plunging white and silver sequined dress and matching strappy heels for the event and also showed added a touch of turquoise and purple to her long blonde locks.
After taking to the stage to accept the iconic surfboard-shaped award, Britney gave a special shout out to her two sons Sean Preston, nine, and Jayden James, eight, as well as her sister Jamie Lynn Spears' seven-year-old daughter Maddie.
The Style Icon award is not the first accolade she's received at the Teen Choice Awards, however, having received a total of nine throughout her career.
The 'Pretty Girls' singer - who attended the very first award show in 1999 - took home the Ultimate Teen Choice award in 2009 and the Female Artist surfboard for three successive years from 2000 to 2002.
The actress thinks it would be tough to recast her character, Winifred Sanderson.
Beck wishes he'd had ''more fun'' when Kanye West invaded the stage in protest at his 2015 Grammy Awards win.
The Duffer Brothers wanted to "experiment a little bit".
