Britney Spears ''would love to be a movie star''.
The 33-year-old pop singer has enjoyed incredible success as a musician, becoming one of the best-selling artists of all time, but has admitted she'd also love to establish herself as a Hollywood success.
Britney said: ''I could dream. I would love to be a movie star.''
The singer's potential transition into the movie business may be made easier after she was recently cast in one of her favourite TV shows, 'Jane the Virgin' - and Britney has confessed she can't wait to start on the set.
She told E! News: ''I think the writing is so simple and so endearing and it's funny!
''I started watching the show before it got really big and I was telling everyone about it. They were all like, 'What are you talking about?' and then it got really big.''
Britney first revealed news of her casting on Twitter, saying she was fulfilling a dream by appearing on one of her most-loved TV shows.
Britney tagged two of its stars, Gina Rodriguez and Jaime Camil, and wrote: ''See u at the Marbella Hotel soon, @hereisgina @jaimecamil! Guest starring on one of my favorite shows EVER @CWJaneTheVirgin #DreamComeTrue (sic).''
