Britney's eighth album is available to stream for free on the iTunes Store
Britney Spears will release her long-awaited eighth studio album, Britney Jean, on 3 December, but rather than wait around twiddling your thumbs until the eventual release date, why not head over to the iTunes Store now, where you can stream the album in full, for the grand total of diddly squat.
Britney Jean is out 3 December, but you can listen now
Described as her "most personal" album to date, Britney has also described her album as "labour of love" and something which she "poured [her] heart and soul into" and you can finally hear this "labour of love" in full now. The 36-minute-long album doesn't feature any of the bonus material penned for the album, you'll have to wait until the official release to listen to that, but it does include all the singles we've heard so far, including 'Work Bitch' and 'Perfume.'
On top of the singles, Britney Jean also features the dancefloor-appropriate tracks 'Tik Tik Boom' and 'Til It’s Gone,' as well as the more tender 'Chillin With You,' a duet with her younger sister Jamie Lynn. In case you were wondering, 'chillin' with Brit and Jamie includes sipping on wine and floating in the sky.
Britney hasn't been working too hard on promoting the new album, but with this being Britney Spears it isn't as though she needs much promo for her new material. The singer also has other things on her mind other than endless promotion of her album, namely her upcoming Las Vegas residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which begins on 27 December and last for two years. The singer will also appear in a fly-on-the-wall documentary, chronicling her preparation for the Vegas shows. The documentary will air on E! on December 22, five days before her residency is due to begin.
