Hip-hop star 50 Cent is recreating his arrest last year (03) at London's HEATHROW AIRPORT for his performance at the Brit Awards tonight (17FEB04).

The American rapper has made a film about his detainment by British police in September 2003, which led to him cancelling the launch of his G-UNIT shoe collection in the English capital.

The MC, whose real name is CURTIS JACKSON, will play his video stunt as he arrives on stage to perform his smash hit IN DA CLUB at EARLS COURT 2.

A source told British newspaper The Sun, "50 was wanted by the American authorities for questioning about a gangland shoot-out in New Jersey. He was held by British police until their colleagues in the US said he was in the clear."

50 Cent has bee nominated for the International Male Artist and International Breakthrough Male at the British music awards.
