Bristol Palin, a contestant on the current season of 'Dancing with the Stars', has followed in her mother's footsteps and set up an official Facebook page, reports the Associated Press. The 19-year-old, who is the daughter of Republican politician Sarah Palin, says the profile is part of a new chapter in her life, adding that she wanted to step out of her comfort zone to tell her story and air her "pro-life and pro-family" views.
Palin has so far used the site to convey how excited she is about her role in the US hit show, 'Dancing With The Stars', in which she partners professional dancer Mark Ballas. The pair's debut routine was performed to the song 'Mama Told Me Not To Come', and the energetic display was heralded by the judges, however, it was actress Jennifer Grey who came away with the evening's highest score. Last week, the UK's Daily Mail reported that Palin and Ballas had taken some time out from rehearsals to visit Palin's mother in Alaska.
Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, also has an official Facebook page, using it to expound on her political views and endorse conservative candidates.
