Former EAST 17 star Brian Harvey is sharing his bizarre car accident with fans by writing a track about the terrifying experience. The cathartic ode, tentatively titled I CAN, charts the troubled boy band singer's road to recovery after he ran himself over last May (05). The hungry star had gorged himself on jacket potatoes earlier in the day and fell out of his Mercedes while opening the door to be sick. He endured 12 hours of surgery to repair his shattered pelvis and ribs and was unconscious for three weeks. But bandmate TONY MORTIMER says of his miraculous recovery: "You'd never believe he'd had an accident. "He's got someone to write a song about what he thinks represent how he feels and all that. "He's really precious about it. But he's still off the jacket spuds (potatoes). Never eat jacket spuds when driving."
