Former SUEDE stars Brett Anderson and BERNARD BUTLER are working together again now they've ended their ten-year feud.

The ANIMAL NITRATE bandmates are collaborating on "at least one track" for Anderson's forthcoming solo album, after the singer decided to disband Suede for the foreseeable future late last year (03).

And Anderson's record is likely to sound completely different to his old band.

An insider tells London radio station XFM, "Brett has, as far as I know, been writing with Bernard on at least one track.

"He wants to get back to basics and to stop sounding like Suede for a while. He's really chuffed with the results. His voice is starting to sound like Johnny Cash. When people hear it, I think they're going to be really surprised."
