He was left shaken by the former Golden Globes president after the latter's unwanted advances.
Just to remind us that it's not just women who have suffered at the hands of sexual predators in Hollywood, Brendan Fraser has stepped forward to reveal that he too was assaulted by a powerful figure in the film industry fifteen years ago. He claims the incident left him 'blacklisted'.
Brendan Fraser at the Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day
The 49-year-old revealed that it was the former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Philip Berk, who molested him at a hotel in California back in 2003. It's not the first we've heard about this particular incident, but it's the first time Brendan has spoken up about it.

The pawn shop is the last resort for most broke people; the place where the impoverished and the desperate sell off their most prized valuables in exchange for an obscenely disproportionate amount of money. In 'Hustlers', it's where three dramatic stories begin; first, a pair of newlyweds find themselves in the shop where, as fate would have it, the groom finds the ring of his first wife who has been missing for some time. While he decides to seek out her kidnapper, a pair of small time criminals are concocting a plan to rob their meth dealer - though their armed robbery plan is inhibited when one of them pawns his shotgun. Meanwhile, one serious-minded Elvis Presley impersonator wishes to pawn his alleged gold Elvis memorabilia as he moves into the town hoping to land a new job in a fairground.

Gentle and very smart, this low-key comedy gets under the skin as it follows a smart young kid into the adult world. Without quite becoming either a frat-house comedy or coming-of-age odyssey, the film knowingly avoids cliches while telling a hugely engaging story with so much charm that it's virtually impossible to stop smiling.
The kid is 13-year-old frizzy-haired genius Eli (Wolff), who longs to attend Harvard but is instead stuck with 27-best choice Whittman College. His first friend there is the oldest freshman, 30-something Leo (Fraser), who is trying to reinvent himself and introduces Eli to the campus' party lifestyle. Then after a run-in with three Harvard snobs, Eli decides to teach his desired university a lesson: he joins Whittman's Mastermind team (alongside Bergman, Lee and de Jesus) and swiftly starts turning their losing streak around as they climb through the ranks and head to a showdown with Harvard at the national finals.
While the competition plot follows a fairly standard trajectory, writer Wierzbianski and director Kent refuse to indulge in trite formulaic melodramatics. Even the way Eli falls for a teen (Garner) from the local town feels fresh and unexpected. And while the humour is rarely laugh-out-loud funny, the smiles are earned because they are grounded in the characters rather than cheap jokes. It also helps that each character is a vivid bundle of complex energy and emotion, nicely played by an up-for-it cast.

Surly is a short-tempered purple squirrel who's beginning to worry as the cold winter approaches and he has managed to store hardly any food for hibernation. The city streets offer little in the way of nourishment and so, desperate, he starts to search elsewhere. When he meets the town's other animals; including Buddy the rat, the self-important Mole, Grayson the grey squirrel and some rather intellectually challenged gophers; he discovers the world of Nutlantis in the form of Maury's Nut Store. The animals agree to accompany Surly on a food heist that could keep them cosy all winter, but in order to do so they have to get past the menacing owner and his slobbering pug, Precious. How to rob a nut store isn't the only thing that Surly finds himself learning though, and he starts to realise just how great the benefits can be working in a team.

Frozen, Oldboy and Saving Mr Banks try to lure moviegoers from Catching Fire, while trailers promise brawn in new Hercules and Tarzan films. And Son of God offers biblical drama...
In the wake of last week's Catching Fire fever, new releases this week are a little more low key. Thanksgiving audiences in America will be choosing between Disney's acclaimed new animated film Frozen and Spike Lee's much more adult remake of the 2003 Korean thriller Oldboy.
Meanwhile in the UK moviegoers will get a taste of Thanksgiving in the wacky animated romp Free Birds, plus a chance to savour the awards-buzz on Saving Mr Banks, about Walt Disney (Tom Hanks) trying to coerce PL Travers (Emma Thompson) into signing over the rights to her book Mary Poppins. Read our Saving Mr. Banks review here.
Hudgens leaves home in 'Gimme Shelter,' finds a family elsewhere.
It takes one look at Miley Cyrus to see how becoming a child star can completely distort a star’s potential to be taken seriously. But being a Disney child isn’t a death sentence, as Vanessa Hudgens proves.
Vanessa Hudgens in Gimme Shelter
The 'High School Musical' star hasn’t employed dramatic tactics to get noticed, nor has she exploited her sexuality to prove that she’s an adult. Instead, she’s flirted with some bridge roles, before stepping up with Spring Breakers – a coming of age film that the critics didn’t see coming.
Apple is a tenacious 16-years-old who's been in and out of foster care since the age of eight, after her mother, a junkie prostitute, was arrested for a drug-related crime. Consistently abusive, her mother has tried her best to turn Apple into what she wants her to become, but Apple runs away determined to lead a better life. With no money and barely any possessions, she decides to track down her father who she has never before met and ask him to take care of her until she can do so herself. As it turns out, he is now a huge persona in the financial world, with millions of dollars to his name. Initially reluctant, he agrees to take her in, but when she learns that she has become pregnant after a brief tryst with a boy, it's clear that she's not welcome anymore. Seeking comfort elsewhere, will she finally find the family she's been wishing for?
