Brady Bunch star Florence Henderson indulged her saucy side by reading out an excerpt of raunchy bestseller Fifty Shades Of Grey during an Australian radio interview on Thursday (28Jun12).
The veteran actress, best known for playing all-American housewife Carol Brady in the family show, proved she's game for a laugh when she gave a dramatic reading of E.L. James' erotic novel during a chat with Melbourne station Mix 101.1.
Henderson moaned seductively as she narrated the explicit sex scene, in which the book's lead characters Anastasia and Christian play with baby oil.
She read, "My inner goddess is beside herself, hopping from foot to foot. Anticipation hangs heavy over my head like a dark tropical storm cloud... as well as a darker, carnal captivating ache as I try to imagine what he will do to me..."
After her reading, the DJ quipped, "Now I know how (Brady Bunch parents) Mike and Carol kept the relationship alive all those years!"
