Movie producers are desperate to recruit Brad Pitt for a big screen version
of hit eighties American TV show Dallas.
The Hollywood hunk, who made his acting TV debut in the glamorous soap
opera in 1987, has been approached to play either badboy oil tycoon JR EWING or
his kinder-hearted younger brother BOBBY.
Catherine Zeta-Jones is being considered for the part of PAMELA EWING,
while Melanie Griffith is favourite to play alcoholic SUE ELLEN.
The list of other top names who are reportedly in line to appear include
Mel Gibson, George Clooney and Matt Damon.
