Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's wedding may well take place at their French estate this weekend, after the chateau became an unusual hive of activity this week. Guests include Brad's mother and father and Angelina' private jeweller Robert Procop has already arrived at the residence, according to the UK's Sun newspaper.
Reports have suggested that Pitt is laying on a lavish bash for his parent's anniversary, though this is widely assumed to be a ruse to thwart the inevitable media interest. A source said, "Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they're all here now. They say it's for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina's private jeweller is here". The couple - who met on the set of 'Mr and Mrs Smith' in 2005 - have six children and announced their engagement in April this year. It has reportedly always been their intention to marry in France, though the guest list is said to be no more than 20, which includes Pitt's best friend George Clooney. The insider revealed, "George and Brad are best pals, there's no way he'd miss it.He's at his house in Italy, but could fly to Marseille in an hour. There's a real buzz around the estate".
The couple bought the 1,000 acre estate in Provence in August 2009, with the intention of creating the ultimate dream home for their growing family. The 17th century Chateau Miraval reportedly boasts a helicopter pad, wine cellar, swimming pool and steam rooms.
