Celebrity hair designer JOHN SAHAG - who has styled the tresses of such
stars as Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston and SARAH JESSICA PARKER - died of cancer
yesterday (15JUN05). He was 51.
Born in Lebanon and raised in Sydney, Australia, Sahag moved to Paris at
age 18 and soon received a credit in Italian VOGUE.
Having worked with a list of internationally renowned photographers -
including RICHARD AVEDON, PATRICK DEMARCHELIER, Helmut Newton, IRVING PENN and
ALBERT WATSON - he was also credited with giving actress Kirsten Dunst her
cropped cut, which he repeated on Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Sahag, who launched his own product line in 1998, also did Demi Moore's
"boy cut" in 1990's Ghost.
Other stars whose hair he once worked on include Gwyneth Paltrow,
Courteney Cox ARQUETTE, Jennifer Lopez, Drew Barrymore, Brooke Shields, SANDRA
BULLOCK, Winona Ryder and Bruce Springsteen.
