Brad Pitt's THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON has kept its place at the top of the box office charts outside the U.S., with weekend takings of $31 million (£22 million) in 53 markets.
The films, which tells the story of a man who ages backwards, debuted at number one in Italy, South Korea and Taiwan to enjoy a second consecutive week atop the international charts.
Disney animated movie Bolt took the second spot, garnering $16.5 million (£11.6 million) from 38 territories, while Valkyrie came in third with $11.9 million (£8.4 million) in 55 markets.
Romantic comedy He's Just Not That Into You took the fourth spot with takings of $11.4 million (£8 million) in 16 markets.
Horror film remake Friday the 13th rounded out the top five, grabbing $10.4 million (£7.3 million) in 30 territories.
