Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf were left shaken by a prank played by the 'Fury' crew.

The two actors have forged a close bond while making the World War II movie in the UK, and decided to take their friendship further with a camping trip in woods on location near Shirburn, Oxfordshire, leaving behind luxuries such as their mobile phones.

However, their peace was shattered when the camp was stormed in the middle of the night by a group of extras in Nazi uniforms employed by production staff.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''Brad got the shock of life. He and Shia were utterly petrified by the sight of an army of Nazi troops.

''They started screaming and running away. Needless to say everyone else found it hysterical.''

It seems Brad is a target for pranks as his friend George Clooney previously admitted he was planning to play a joke on the 'Moneyball' star which could end his career.

George said: ''I have done some horrible things to people. Truly, truly horrible.

''I'm working on one right now for Brad Pitt. It might end his career.

''I've been working on it for two years. I'm not going to tell you what it is, but just know, I got it.''
