Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's eldest child MADDOX picked up a special souvenir at Tuesday night's (04Sep07) New York Yankees/Seattle Mariners baseball clash - a bat and ball direct from the hands of star slugger DEREK JETER. Pitt took the five-year-old to Yankees Stadium as a belated birthday gift, while partner Jolie babysat the couple's other three children. And little Maddox was left speechless when Yankees hero Jeter wandered over to the young fan and personally delivered a signed bat and ball direct from the home team's dug-out. Father and son left the game during the seventh inning, with a thrilled Pitt telling reporters, "He (Maddox) loved it." The Pitts weren't the only celebrities at the game - they shared New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's seats with moviemaker Spike Lee and his 10-year-old son Jackson. The celebrity star power gave the Yankees a baseball boost - the New Yorkers beat visiting Seattle 12-3.
