Boy George refuses to let the fear of failure prevent him from pursuing his varied ventures in the entertainment industry.

The former CULTURE CLUB singer - who has tested his skills as a musician, a writer, a DJ, and now a photographer - accepts he "relies" on the public's approval of his career choices to keep him financially secure.

However, he also recognises he would no longer be in the spotlight if he'd continued to make music.

He says, "I don't think it's a deliberate thing, at least I'm not conscious of it being deliberate. I think whenever you do anything that relies on the approval of others you're always going to be slightly worried about what people think, but that can't dictate what you do, otherwise you just keep on doing the same thing forever, and then you get slagged off (criticised) for that."
