Shamed pop star Boy George is putting his time in jail to good use - by writing a comeback song for Robbie Williams. The former Culture Club frontman - real name George O'Dowd - was sentenced to serve 15 months in prison last month (Jan09) for chaining Norwegian Audun Carlsen to a hook in a bedroom at his East London apartment in April 2007.
He had planned to team up with Williams to work on the Angels hitmaker's forthcoming album - but his spell behind bars put an end to the collaboration.
Instead, the 47-year-old is working on tracks for the singer from his jail cell.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "Robbie had tapped up George to write some tracks for his new album. They had intended to work together on the songs together, but they can't do that now.
"George has neglected his song-writing and is determined to hone his skills again. Without the distractions of the outside world he is bidding to wirte Rob a killer ballad from behind bars."
