Former FRIENDS actress Bonnie Somerville feared she'd be killed by the man who robbed her and an actor pal at gunpoint earlier this month (Oct08).
Somerville, 34, and Walter Stewart were leaving an event on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles on 18 October when they were confronted by a lone gunman.
The star began screaming as the assailant demanded she hand over her bag, and a struggle ensued. A shot was fired, hitting Stewart in the back.
Speaking out for the first time since the incident, Somerville tells People magazine: "We didn't know (he) had a gun; we wouldn't have struggled.
"(When he pointed the gun at me), my mum's face flashed in my head - I thought I was going to die. I'm so lucky."
Somerville played Mona, one-time girlfriend of David Schwimmer's character Ross Geller, in the hit TV series.
