Bonnie Langford Has Credited Her New Role In British Soap Opera Eastenders With Helping Her Through The Pain Of Her Divorce.
The former Doctor Who star's 20-year marriage to Paul Grunert, the father of her teenage daughter, was officially dissolved in April (15), the same month she landed a role in the hit TV drama, and Langford admits working on her acting comeback distracted her from her personal problems.
Langford says, "I've just got divorced but I'm alright. Going on EastEnders was perfect timing for me."
The 51 year old recently announced she will be staying with the soap opera longterm, telling U.K. TV show Lorraine, "I'm there for a while now. I have even been given my own dressing room. I'm there for about a year. It's been so wonderful."
