15th March – Nick Gordon checks into rehab after being assessed by Dr. Phil McGraw. The intervention, which Gordon’s mother also attends, is televised. During the interview, Gordon breaks down and threatens to commit suicide. Bobbi’s family criticise Dr. Phil for giving Gordon a platform from which to tell his version of the story when he allegedly will not co-operate with Bobbi’s family or the police.

21st March – Sources claim Bobbi has been moved to a rehabilitation centre but is still unconscious.

27th March – Bobbi’s grandmother, Cissy Houston, opens up about Bobbi’s condition in a radio interview and reveals there is not a “great deal of hope”. 

18th April – Bobby Brown performs in Dallas, Texas and claims his daughter is “awake”. Days later, his wife clarified his remarks and claimed that, although Bobbi was making progress, she was not conscious. 

8th May - Bobby Brown and Bobbi’s aunt, Pat Houston, are named as her legal guardians. They are responsible for making decisions about her medical care. Bedelia Hargove is also placed in charge of Bobbi’s financial affairs. 

Week beginning 15th June - Bobbi’s family consult a specialist in Chicago who, according to TMZ, informed them there was little hope of Bobbi ever coming out of her coma. 

Week beginning 22nd June – Bobbi is moved into hospice care and reportedly taken off all medication. It is uncertain how long she will survive without medical assistance. As CNN reports, Bobbi’s family file a $10 million lawsuit against Gordon, claiming he caused Bobbi life threatening injuries and stole money from her account whilst she was in a coma.
