Brown was hospitalised in January (15) after she was found unconscious and unresponsive in a bathtub at the Atlanta home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon. She was placed in a medically-induced coma and she has been fighting for her life ever since.

After two months in hospital, she was transferred to an Atlanta-area rehab facility in March (15), and family members moved her into hospice care last week (ends26Jun15) - but not before her aunt Pat Houston sought specialists' opinions in Chicago.

Insiders tell People magazine that Houston, who is one of Bobbi Kristina's guardians, wanted to help her father, Bobby Brown, understand that every effort had been made to treat his daughter.

The experts told the family there was nothing to be done and Bobbi Kristina should be allowed to die in peace.

Houston, who is married to the brother of Bobbi Kristina's late mother Whitney Houston, has been among the family members gathering at her bedside as her condition continues to deteriorate.

She was spotted embracing Bobby Brown's sister Tina outside the hospice over the weekend (27-28Jun15).

A week ago, Pat Houston released a statement about her niece's health, which read: "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, (her) condition has continued to deteriorate. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."
