Ronnie Wood 'feels Sorry' For X Factor Contestants

Ronnie Wood ''feels sorry'' for the bands on 'The X Factor'.

The 67-year-old former The Rolling Stones member - who performed with One Direction on last year's final of the ITV talent contest - has said he doesn't think new bands are required to do as much hard work as he had to when he was starting out in the music industry, admitting he feels he was more ''exposed'' when he rose to fame.

Ronnie said: ''I feel sorry for some of the younger bands nowadays who suddenly have to go on 'The X Factor' or something, because they don't have any training ground to cut their teeth.

Bill Murray: Modern Comedies Are 'different'

Bill Murray Bob Harris Laura Linney

Bill Murray thinks modern day comedies are ''different'' from how they use to be.

The 62-year-old actor, who is best known for his light-hearted roles in movies including 'Ghostbusters', admits his focus turned to more dramatic roles such as ageing actor Bob Harris in 'Lost In Translation' after he struggled to relate to the new style of Hollywood comedies.

He explained: ''They're different [now] ... They're just different from what I used to do. The early movies, we just did them for fun. If they were funny, you did them. There wasn't this life-or-death thing.

Bill Murray Carries The Critically Panned Hyde Park On Hudson

Bill Murray Roger Michell Laura Linney Bob Harris Daniel Day Lewis President Abraham Lincoln

Bill Murray has been praised for portrayal of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The veteran actor plays the late American president in director Roger Michell's 'Hyde Park on Hudson', which explores his relationship with his distant cousin Margaret 'Daisy' Suckley (Laura Linney) and - as mentioned in the film's title - his visit to London's Hyde Park in June 1939 after receiving an invitation from England's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.

After missing out on several Oscars in the past for roles such as middle-aged actor Bob Harris in 'Lost in Translation' and weatherman Phil Connors in 'Groundhog Day' it is hoped that the 62-year-old actor will finally be awarded for 'Hyde Park on Hudson'.

The Farm: Angola, USA Review

OK
This documentary about the largest (and arguably, deadliest) prison in America, Angola, has amazing access to the six convicts it follows, but never really generates enough emotion to merit classic status. The prisoners have it rough -- I can't imagine having to learn the law so I could defind myself in parole hearings and the like -- but unfortunately the movie is not really artistic enough to bring out the qualities in these prisoners well enough so that we care about them. Ultimately it's an interesting look at the penal system, but not really a compelling enough story about its "victims."
