SIR Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches hates it when people assume she was spoilt as a child - because her famous father only gave her 95 cents (50 pence) to spend a week.

The 16-year-old, whose TV documentary Peaches Geldof: INSIDE THE MIND OF A TEENAGER airs on British network SKY ONE later this month (APR05), claims to have had a normal upbringing.

She says, "I actually have a very ordinary life really.

"I didn't have a privileged childhood - my father was concerned about us being spoiled and we got 50p a week pocket money until I was 12."

Peaches' mother was TV presenter Paula Yates, who committed suicide in 2000.
