The life of legendary choreographer and director Bob Fosse is to be resurrected on the big screen in a biopic directed by X-Men 's Bryan Singer.
Executives at HBO Films are working on an adaptation of Bye, Bye Life: The Loves and Deaths of Bob Fosse, a forthcoming biography from movie historian Sam Wasson.
Singer has reportedly signed on to direct the film, and will co-executive produce with Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, the duo behind movie musicals Hairspray and Chicago.
Fosse rose to fame performing on and choreographing for the Broadway stage and went on to direct movies starring Shirley MACLaine and Liza Minnelli, including Oscar-winning film Cabaret.
No stars have yet been announced for the biopic.
