Veteran singer-songwriter Bob Dylan is set to exhibit a series of iron gates he welded in his home art studio.
The Blowin' in the Wind hitmaker sculpts old railway parts and vintage iron in his vast workshop at his mansion in Malibu, California, and now he has agreed to show fans the results of his secret hobby.
The seven gates will be exhibited to the public for the first time at London's Halcyon Gallery from 16 November (13), while Dylan himself kicks off a short U.K. tour two days later (18Nov13).
In the gallery brochure, the folk icon is quoted as saying, "Gates appeal to me because of the negative space they allow. They can shut you out or shut you in. And in some ways there is no difference."
